Sr. Service Engineer

Location: South India (Preferred: Coimbatore / Chennai / Bangalore)

Role Summary:-

Key Responsibilities

• Installation:
  • Overseeing the installation of new channel furnaces and other capital equipment, ensuring proper setup and connection to power sources and control systems.
  • Configuring equipment parameters according to customer specifications and industry standards.
• Maintenance:
  • Conducting routine maintenance checks.
  • Replacing worn-out or damaged parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal machine operations.
• Repair & Troubleshooting
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in the installed products.
  • Troubleshooting faults and identifying root causes to implement effective solutions
  • Responding to customer service calls and resolving equipment problems in a timely manner.
  • Assisting customers in optimizing furnace performance and energy efficiency.
• Documentation:
  • Maintaining detailed records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and customer interactions.
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
